PRESS: Russian Railways, Gazprom can build railway to Sabetta
MOSCOW, Oct 29 (PRIME) -- Russian Railways and Gazprom can send an official application to the government in January–June 2019 to build the northernmost railway in Russia, to the Port of Sabetta on the Yamal Peninsula, business daily Vedomosti reported on Monday, citing sources with knowledge of the matter.
Engineering corporation Transstroy signed an agreement to build the railway line in 2015 but has not started the works.
According to the sources cited by Vedomosti, the road will cost about 113 billion rubles.
